E kore e riro, he tī tāmore nō Rarotonga - "The cabbage tree is never carried away in a gale"
Welcome to Te Pou Tī Kōuka | Springfield School.
Nestled at the foothills of the Southern Alps, Springfield School is staffed for 2025 with 3 classrooms - Year 1-2, 2-3 and 4-6. Our teaching staff are supported by a full time principal, part time teacher aide and part time office administrator. The staff are supported by a committed School Board and an active PTA to ensure the school is well equipped, resourced and funded. Springfield School is a focal point within the community and our roll usually sits between the high 30s - mid 40s.
Our current projects consist of putting some love into our school pool followed by some more native planting. We are also looking forward to getting our garden to table underway, which will also include composting, and a worm farm.
