Welcome to Te Pou Tī Kōuka Springfield School.
Nestled at the foothills of the Southern Alps, Springfield School is a 2.59 teacher U1 contributing primary school. Our staff is made up of a teaching principal who is supported by a part time teacher in a job share position and one full time teacher. We currently have two teacher aides and an office manager. The staff are supported by a committed Board of Trustees and an active PTA to ensure the school is well equipped, resourced and funded. Springfield School is a focal point within the community and currently has 44 students on its roll.
Our current projects consist of creating a new playground for students, followed by some more native planting. We are also looking forward to getting our garden to table underway, which will also include composting, and a worm farm.
